Monaco Grand Prix yacht charter. No other event conjures the same vision of glamour and excitement as the Monaco Grand Prix. It’s a glittering mix of fast cars, beautiful women and luxurious yachts; an experience not to be missed, even if you’re not an F1 enthusiast. Throughout four days in May (26th– 29th 2011), culminating in the F1 final on the Sunday afternoon, thoroughbred racing cars are hurled around the streets next to the Old Harbour at speeds of up to 175 miles per hour and Monaco becomes the centre of the motor sports universe. |

You can also make the most of the early summer sunshine and turn your trip into something altogether more memorable. For many guests, attending the Monaco Grand Prix is the culmination of a long held ambition and we can help make the whole experience more special. Sometimes, not everyone in the group wants to attend the racing and we make sure they have a wonderful day aboard, sailing and being pampered whilst the motor sports enthusiasts do their thing! |

Sample Itinerary: Monaco Grand Prix Sailing Weekend. Wednesday: Board your yacht in the pretty port of Villefranche at around midday. Lunch aboard followed by a short afternoon sail around to a beautiful bay alongside St. Jean Cap Ferrat to anchor for a relaxing swim and some sunbathing. Dinner ashore. Thursday: After breakfast, sail west across the Bay of Angels to Antibes and anchor just off the old city walls for lunch. Time for swimming and relaxing before sailing around the Cap d’Antibes to Juan les Pins and dinner ashore. Friday: A short sail to the Isles de Lerins for lunch. The islands are a nature reserve and one is the location of the prison where, supposedly, the Man in the Iron Mask was held. There is also a monastery which can be visited, where the monks are renowned for their high quality wines and lavender liqueur. In the afternoon return to Villefranche and enjoy dinner aboard amidst the party atmosphere which takes over this popular anchorage during Grand Prix weekend. Saturday: A leisurely breakfast before sailing past Monaco to enjoy the sights and sounds of practice and the final qualifying races. Anchor for lunch at Menton before returning to Villefranche in the evening. Dinner ashore, perhaps at one of the special Grand Prix dinners hosted by major hotels and restaurants along the coast. Sunday (F1 Final): Enjoy a Champagne breakfast before heading off to Monaco on the frequent train service from Villefranche (a 12 minute journey) to take your seats for the F1 final. Overnight in Villefranche or Beaulieu with a relaxing dinner aboard. Monday: A quiet morning to recover from the previous day’s noise and excitement, enjoy a hearty breakfast and stroll around Villefranche for a few last minute souvenirs. Disembark at midday for transfer to Nice airport. For larger groups, or corporate entertaining, SS Delphine can accommodate 28 guests overnight and up to 160 for entertaining, and RM Elegant can accommodate up to 30 guests. Watching the Monaco Grand Prix itself. The event takes place from Thursday to Sunday, with qualifying races and the Formula Renault and Porsche Mobile 1 Supercup races spread over the days before the Formula 1 final. Tickets are available online via the organisers, Monaco Automobile Club. Alternatively, places are available to watch the Grand Prix from a yacht with a view of the track, or we can make arrangements for tables with a view of the race at the various hotels and restaurants organising special lunches. RM Elegant and SS Delphine may secure places in Port Hercules for the event. However, a track view cannot be guaranteed since berths in this part of the port are reserved for race sponsors. |
