Our crewed sailing yachts offer a warm welcome and the opportunity to taste the glamorous and exciting world of yachting on an affordable scale. Established in 2003 by Alan and Michelle, owners of DreamCatcher, Dream Sailing now manages a fleet of top quality yachts available for charter in the Mediterranean and Caribbean.
Alan and Michelle are widely travelled and have been yacht owners for many years. They both quit senior management careers in London in order to change their lifestyle and pursue their passion for the outdoor life. Alan is an RYA Yachtmaster and has extensive sailing experience which includes crossing the Southern Ocean from Sydney to Cape Town. Both remain closely involved with the business: Alan looking after yacht maintenance and repairs, and Michelle dealing with all of our enquiries and charter bookings.
When you call or email us you're directly in touch with the people who run the business, know the sailing areas and work with the yachts on a daily basis. Apart from our own yacht, DreamCatcher, all of our yachts are owned by people who originally chartered from us, which we believe is testimony to the quality of our service.
A passion for sailing and exceptional hospitality.
All of our crew members are experienced, professional sailors with a real passion for their chosen career. In addition to their sailing qualifications, they also receive extensive hospitality training from Dream Sailing, including cookery, food and drink service and wine appreciation, as well as yacht maintenance. We recruit, train and manage our crew members ourselves in order to achieve and maintain the best standards.
Whilst Dream Sailing manages our fleet's charter activities, our other company Dream Yachts supplies, commissions and equips them, as well as providing all of the spare parts and accessories required to ensure they remain in top condition. We offer a comprehensive charter management service for owners.

There's much more hard work involved than many people think: crews have to learn to prepare and serve food to a very high standardas well as coming to terms with the sheer amount of cleaning and maintenance involved in running a large yacht.
On top of that, maneouvering and sailing an unfamiliar vessel takes some getting used to; many crews have never flown a cruising chute before, or used a bow thruster. Then there's the art of hospitality and generally looking after guests in a way that all those special touches seem to happen as if by magic, and even the bed-making and towel folding fairy is never seen.
